What is a high-frequency PCB?

High-frequency PCBs are specifically designed for high-frequency (typically above 500 MHz) and microwave (typically above 2 GHz) applications. These PCBs have special considerations in material selection, design, and manufacturing processes to ensure the integrity of signal transmission and prevent interference during high-speed transmission. Due to the extremely strict requirements of high-frequency signals for PCB materials and manufacturing processes, the manufacturing of high-frequency PCBs faces multiple challenges, including material selection, precise manufacturing processes, and cost control. The manufacturing cost of high-frequency PCBs is usually higher than that of traditional PCBs because the required materials and manufacturing technologies are more advanced and complex.

As a leading expert in high-frequency PCB manufacturing, we have achieved a competitive edge through advanced manufacturing techniques. We employ the latest technologies including precise laser drilling, automated copper plating, and high-precision etching to ensure that every high-frequency PCB design meets the most stringent quality and manufacturing standards. Moreover, our advanced laminating technology can maintain the integrity of the laminate, ensuring that no signal is lost regardless of how demanding the circuit requirements are.

Why choose Linghangda's high-frequency PCB?

As a manufacturer of high-frequency PCBs for Linghangda, we offer reliable and high-performing solutions for high-frequency PCBs. Our circuit boards employ advanced thermal management technology, featuring extremely low dielectric loss and excellent signal integrity, ensuring seamless operation of the system. We select carefully chosen materials to minimize signal attenuation and maintain stable performance across various platforms. Moreover, our high-frequency PCB designs have been optimized to effectively reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI), thereby enhancing system reliability.

Characteristics

01 Material Usage: High-frequency PCBs are typically manufactured using materials with low dielectric constant (DK) and low dielectric loss (DF). Common materials for high-frequency PCBs include PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene, commercially known as Teflon), FR-4 high-performance, Rogers series materials, etc. These materials can provide better signal transmission performance and lower signal loss.

02 Design Considerations: In high-frequency applications, the design of PCBs must take into account signal integrity issues such as impedance control, signal loss, and electromagnetic interference (EMI). During the design process, specific routing layouts and stacking structures must be adopted to minimize signal attenuation and crosstalk.

03 Manufacturing Accuracy: The manufacturing process of high-frequency PCBs has strict requirements for accuracy, including line width control, hole position accuracy, and layer alignment. Any minor deviation can lead to performance degradation.
